Mesut Ozil: 'I want to give my all to Arsenal'

Mesut Ozil insists that he is focused on giving his all for Arsenal amid rumours linking the midfielder with a move away from the Emirates Stadium.

Mesut Ozil has reiterated that he is focused on giving his all for Arsenal amid rumours linking the midfielder with a move away from the Emirates Stadium.

The 29-year-old's Gunners contract expires in the summer and recent media reports suggested that he had told teammates of an impending move to Manchester United.

Ozil, however, told Arsenal fans to "ignore the noise" regarding the persistent rumours before putting in a man-of-the-match performance in a 5-2 win at Everton last Sunday.

Club owner Stan Kroenke subsequently told The Telegraph of his desire to keep both Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

"It's very nice to hear that [Kroenke's comments] and to see that - he's the major shareholder," the Germany international told Sky Sports News.

"I'm happy here, and I do my job to 100% as I always have. I give everything and leave it all on the pitch for the team.

"The most important thing is football. I want to give everything, 100% for this club. It's important for me to give my all and enjoy playing as well. Whatever else happens, we will see in the future."

Ozil has scored 33 goals and registered 58 assists for Arsenal since his 2013 move from Real Madrid.
