Arsenal's majority shareholder Stan Kroenke will reportedly decline the proposed takeover of the club by a Middle Eastern consortium.
Reports on Saturday evening suggested that the Gunners were to be the subject of the biggest ever takeover of a football club.
Reports claimed that Kroenke was to be offered around £20,000 a share in a deal that would be a mouth-watering £1.5bn.
However, according to The Mirror, Kroenke remains fully committed to Arsenal and has no intention of selling his 66.64% stake at the Emirates Stadium.
Kroenke has been nicknamed 'Silent Stan' by some Arsenal fans for a perceived lack of interest in on-field matters with the Gunners.
