Carl Jenkinson has insisted that he is happy with his back-up role in the Arsenal team as long as they continue to shine this season.
The 21-year-old right-back, a lifelong Arsenal fan, has found it difficult to earn a vast amount of playing time this term due to the continued good form of Bacary Sagna, as the Gunners sit top of the Premier League and are still competing in the Champions League and the FA Cup.
"We have got four really good full-backs and so that means the boss can rotate when he feels it is appropriate," Jenkinson told reporters.
"Bac has been playing so well this season it has been hard for me to get games, but as long as the boys are doing well, as tough as it is sitting on the bench, you just have to hold your hands up because we are top of the league and that is the main thing.
"The FA Cup is a massive competition, which everyone wants to be involved in. You could see that when we played Spurs [in the third round] and also how seriously the boss takes it with the teams he has fielded. We all love being a part of the competition and will just look forwards to the next round."
Arsenal beat Coventry City 4-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Friday night to move into the fifth round of the FA Cup, where they will host Liverpool.
