Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson wants to concentrate on playing for his club rather than worry about his international future.
Despite playing for Finland's youth teams, the 20-year-old is still eligible to represent England and has been tipped for a call-up to the squad ahead of the World Cup qualifiers with San Marino and Poland.
However, Jenkinson feels that now is not the time to discuss his international status and remains fully concentrated on the Gunners.
"I'm just concentrating on my club football, that's my bread and butter," said Jenkinson. "I'm just focused on the here and now and the next game against Olympiakos.
"[Finland] have contacted me. I told them, 'I'm focusing on my club football' so that's all there is to it. You can read into that how you want.
"I'm going to have to make a decision at some point. As I've said many times, I will cross that bridge when I come to it. Until then I'm just concentrating on each game as it comes."
Jenkinson is likely to be in action when Arsenal host Olympiakos in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
