Carl Jenkinson: 'Arsenal not thinking about Premier League title'

Carl Jenkinson claims that the Arsenal players are not concerned with where they are in the Premier League table.

Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson has claimed that the players are not concerned with where they are in the Premier League table.

The Gunners are currently five points clear at the top of the standings following an unbeaten run of four matches that includes three wins.

However, Jenkinson insists that the players are only focusing on one game at a time as they look to win the title for the first time since 2004.

"I think the boys don't really talk about where we are in the league too much if I'm completely honest with you," he told the club's official website.

"We are just trying to take one game at a time and if we do that well then our league position will take care of itself.

"We've got big games coming up but we're definitely not looking at it in an apprehensive way. We look at every game as an opportunity to improve our position in the league."

Arsenal finish their Champions League group campaign on Wednesday when they face a crucial clash against Napoli in Italy.
