Santi Cazorla: 'Lack of trophies could force me to leave'

Santi Cazorla admits that he could be forced to leave Arsenal if the club continue to struggle to win trophies.

Santi Cazorla has hinted that he could look for a move should Arsenal continue to struggle in their attempts to win silverware.

The 29-year-old recently extended his contract at the Emirates Stadium, but he admits that the club's nine-year trophy drought must not go on for much longer if he is to continue his career with the Gunners.

"I want titles and that is why I came to Arsenal," Cazorla told Sport 360. "Every football player wants to win titles. We've gone many years without winning one. And if not, what I'll look for in my next destination is to have the chance to win.

"I don't want to close doors. When I'm turning 31 I'll evaluate myself and I'll choose the best option. In which case, I would be delighted to come back [to Spain]."

Arsenal take on Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday.
