Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will reportedly not face action from the Football Association for confronting referee Neil Swarbrick in Saturday's game against Watford.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will not face any disciplinary action from the Football Association over his row with referee Neil Swarbrick.

The Frenchman targeted the match official after Watford were awarded a second-half penalty as a result of Hector Bellerin's challenge on Richarlison.

Troy Deeney converted from the spot before the Hornets went on to win the game 2-1 thanks to a 92nd-minute goal from Tom Cleverley.

According to Sky Sports News, Wenger vented his fury at Swarbrick down the tunnel and into the referee's changing room after the final whistle blew, but the official has not included the incident in his match report, meaning that the Arsenal boss will not face FA action.

The result ended the Gunners' four-match unbeaten run and puts them nine points behind leaders Manchester City after eight matches.
