Unai Emery says that he is looking forward to taking his Arsenal players to Dubai this month for some warm-weather training.

Arsenal have confirmed that they will head to the Middle East as part of a warm-weather training camp ahead of their Premier League run-in.

The Gunners welcome Rennes to the Emirates Stadium on Thursday night for the second leg of their Europa League last-16 tie, which they trail 3-1 from last week's reverse fixture in France.

Following that European match they do not have another game until Newcastle United visit on April 1, however, giving Unai Emery a few weeks to work with his players that are not involved in international duty.

Arsenal will spend five days in Dubai with a limited squad, which will be broken up with a friendly scheduled against Al-Nasr Dubai at their newly-built Al Maktou Stadium on March 26.

Speaking to the club's official website, Emery said: "It will be great to get some warm-weather training and break up the usual routine as we enter the final stage of the season.

"The facilities in Dubai are fantastic and it will be an honour to be part of the formal opening ceremony for the new stadium."

Arsenal sit in the fourth and final Champions League qualifying spot and have eight Premier League games left to play.
