Italian agent Federico Pastorello has denied that there is a pre-agreement between Antonio Conte and Arsenal over the managerial position at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners have made a poor start to the new Premier League season, losing all three of their matches against Brentford, Chelsea and Manchester City without scoring a single goal.
A recent report claimed that the North London club had a 'preliminary agreement' with Conte to become the new manager in October, with current boss Mikel Arteta on his way out.
However, journalist Freddie Paxton has quoted Pastorello - an agent close to Conte - as saying that there is 'absolutely no agreement' between the two parties.
Paxton has also reported that there has been 'no official approach from Arsenal' despite Arteta's position at the helm being called into question due to the team's struggles this term.
Conte has been without a job since leaving Italian champions Inter at the end of last season, and the 52-year-old has previous experience of coaching in English football, having managed Chelsea between July 2016 and July 2018, winning the Premier League and FA Cup at Stamford Bridge.
