Aaron Ramsey: 'Arsenal will improve'

Aaron Ramsey says that Arsenal can still win the Premier League despite a stuttering start to the 2015-16 season.

Aaron Ramsey has told Arsenal to get their Premier League title bid back on track by beating Newcastle United to go into the international break on a high.

The Gunners are yet to hit top form after losing their Premier League opener at home to West Ham United, before squeezing past Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Arsene Wenger's side toiled again last night as they failed to break down a stubborn Liverpool defence during a 0-0 draw at the Emirates Stadium.

However, Ramsey, who had a goal wrongly ruled out for offside against the Reds, says that a spike in form is imminent and hopes that it can start when the Magpies come to town on Saturday.

"It is always disappointing to start with a loss [at home to West Ham]," he was quoted as saying by The Mirror.

"I think we've responded well. It's important not to lose the big games and to get something out of it if we can't win the game which we have managed to do.

"Hopefully now we can beat Newcastle, go away with our national teams and come back and go on a bit of a run."

Arsenal sit five points behind 2014 champions Manchester City in ninth.
