Santi Cazorla hopes to make Arsenal comeback against Manchester City

Santi Cazorla is hopeful that he will play in Arsenal's final two games of the season after spending five months on the sidelines with a knee injury.

Santi Cazorla has claimed that he hopes to return to the Arsenal first team for the final two games of the season.

The Spaniard has been out of action with a knee injury since November, but he has stepped up his recovery by playing for the Under-21s.

The midfielder, who played for an hour in the development side's win over Blackburn Rovers, is hopeful of featuring in games against Manchester City and Aston Villa.

"I'm very happy to be back," Cazorla told Arsenal Player. "It is a great feeling after five months. I need to keep up the hard work with my teammates in the first team and I want to play the last two games."

Arsenal are currently third in the Premier League table, three points behind second-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
