Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Southampton

Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with Southampton on Tuesday evening.

Arsenal will be desperate to avoid a second defeat at Southampton in the space of a week when they make another journey to St Mary's on Tuesday evening.

A below-par Gunners side relinquished their FA Cup crown in the fourth round on Saturday as Kyle Walker-Peters's cross took a deflection off Gabriel Magalhaes to hand the Saints a deserved 1-0 win.

Several of the same old problems cropped up once again for Mikel Arteta, but he can take solace in the fact that his charges have taken 13 points a possible 15 on offer in their last five Premier League matches.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Tuesday's game.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Possible return date: Unknown

Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was nowhere to be seen at the weekend, and Arteta revealed that he was absent due to a personal issue. The striker has been ruled out of this game as he attends to the matter.

Dani Ceballos

Dani Ceballos is one of a number of Arsenal players who have been struggling with calf problems recently, and he did not make the journey to the South Coast after failing a late fitness test. The Spaniard is back in training but will not be fit for this one.

Pablo Mari
