Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Brentford

Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Brentford.

Arsenal return to action for the first time in 10 days when they make the journey to face Brentford in Sunday's Premier League London derby.

The Gunners have not taken to the field since overcoming FC Zurich 2-1 in the Europa League on September 8, during which news broke of the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Mikel Arteta's side could drop to third by Sunday if Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur both win on Saturday, but victory at Brentford will see them end the weekend at the top of the table again.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with the Bees, who currently occupy eighth spot in the rankings.

The Ukrainian FA have announced that Oleksandr Zinchenko will miss the upcoming international period after picking up a muscular issue in training, and the left-back is now expected to spend two weeks recovering.

Attacker Reiss Nelson sustained a serious thigh injury in pre-season and is yet to make a competitive appearance this term, but Arteta will hope to have him available for the North London derby with Tottenham following the international break.
