Arsenal are being held to a goalless draw by Fulham after 45 minutes of their Premier League match this afternoon.

The Gunners almost fell behind midway through the first half, as Steve Sidwell lashed in a strike from the edge of the box that Wojciech Szczesny had to be alert to tip over the bar.

Fulham were posing a threat and Szczesny had to be out quickly off his line to reach the ball ahead of Ashkan Dejagah.

Arsenal's best chance of the half fell to Bacary Sagna, when a free kick from Santi Cazorla broke kindly to him inside the box, but Maarten Stekelenburg got down quickly to make the save.
