Arsene Wenger: 'We gave absolutely everything'

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says that his side gave "absolutely everything" in the second half as they came from 2-0 down to beat Aston Villa 3-2 in the FA Cup.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said that his side gave "absolutely everything" in the second half as they came from 2-0 down to beat Aston Villa in the FA Cup fourth round.

Two penalties from Robin van Persie and a Theo Walcott goal saw the Gunners turn around the half-time deficit and reach the next round.

"We wanted to stay in the Cup and we promised ourselves to give absolutely everything," Wenger told ESPN.

"I felt that 2-0 was very harsh at half time and it was about scoring and keeping our structure and not doing anything silly. We tried to keep focus and calm."

Wenger's side will now make the trip to either Sunderland or Middlesbrough in the next round.
