Alex Song hails "unbelievable" Robin van Persie

Alex Song describes goalscorer Robin van Persie as "unbelievable" after Arsenal's 2-1 win against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

Alex Song has described teammate Robin van Persie's goalscoring form as "unbelievable" after Arsenal's 2-1 Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund.

The Dutchman's brace, which has secured the Gunners' passage into the last-16 of the competition, were his 37th and 38th goals in 41 games.

"It's unbelievable," said Song. "He's a very good player. It's very important that he doesn't get injured because if he gets injured it won't be good for us.

"Today, and in every single game, he has been unbelievable. We need to keep him in good form."

Arsenal next host Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday.
