Former England striker Gary Lineker believes that the Premier League is at "crisis point" after no English team made it into the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Former England international Gary Lineker has labelled the Premier League's inability to have any sides in the last eight of the Champions League a "crisis point".

Arsenal were knocked out by Monaco on away goals on Tuesday, while Wednesday night saw Manchester City suffer a 1-0 reverse to Barcelona.

Chelsea were eliminated by Paris Saint-Germain last week, while Liverpool failed to make it out of the group stages before Christmas.

The draw for the last eight of Europe's premier club competition is made in Switzerland on Friday morning.
