Charlie Strutton loan boosts Aldershot Town

AFC Wimbledon forward Charlie Strutton has joined Aldershot Town on a one-month loan.

The 24-year-old, who has made just four starts for the Dons since moving to Kingsmeadow a year-and-a-half ago, could make his Shots debut against Southport this afternoon.

Strutton had a successful loan spell in the Conference Premier with Braintree earlier this season, scoring six goals in seven games.

Aldershot, who were deducted 10 points for being in administration in June, currently sit 23rd in the Conference table.
