Aldershot Town boss Dean Holdsworth has revealed that striker Guy Madjo has departed the club in search of regular first-team football.
The 28-year-old scored eight goals in the second half of last season, but has found opportunities harder to come by in this campaign.
"I am unable to guarantee Guy a regular spot and he understands that but he wants to play," Holdsworth told Sky Sports News.
"I want to clarify that he has been professional throughout but he wants to move on and we have agreed to this. We have shaken hands and I wish him all the best for the future. This will also allow us to free some money in the transfer window."
Madjo has departed the club by mutual agreement.
