Frenkie de Jong has revealed that he will only leave Ajax this month if a club "offers an absurd amount of money" before the transfer window slams shut.
De Jong, 21, has been strongly linked with a move to Barcelona over the last few months, and it was claimed last month that the Catalan outfit were prepared to pay £44m for his services.
Ajax sporting director Marc Overmars said last month that De Jong would not be leaving the club this summer, however, and the player also believes that to be the case.
"In principle, I will stay at Ajax [this summer], although you never know in football. Maybe in four days there is a club that offers an absurd amount of money and Ajax tell me to go. You can never make predictions 100%, but the possibilities of continuing at Ajax are great," he told Ziggo Sport.
De Jong scored once and registered nine assists in 26 appearances for Ajax last term.
