Ajax hammer Willem II 5-0 at home to win the Eredivisie title for the third successive year.

Dutch giants Ajax have won the Eredivisie title for the third year in a row.

Frank de Boer's side clinched this season's championship with a 5-0 victory over Willem II at the Amsterdam ArenA on Sunday.

Goals from Kolbeinn Sigthorsson, Christian Eriksen, Viktor Fischer, Siem de Jong and Danny Hoesen saw the former European champions win their 32nd title, as they have an unassailable four-point lead over PSV Eindhoven with just one more round of matches left to play this season.

The triumph also saw De Boer become only the third coach to lead Ajax to three successive Eredivisie titles after Rinus Michels and Louis van Gaal.
