Luke Moore signs new AFC Wimbledon deal

AFC Wimbledon striker Luke Moore signs a new contract with the League Two outfit.

AFC Wimbledon boss Neal Ardley has revealed that Luke Moore has signed a new contract with the League Two outfit.

The 25-year-old, who joined the club from Ebbsfleet in 2009, has scored 27 league goals in 135 games for the Dons.

Ardley told the club's official website: "We put together a team that managed to keep the club up last season and now we are trying to assemble a better team for next season.

"I am confident that Luke will flourish during the next campaign if he can carry on where he left off last season. He was certainly a key player in helping us stay up.

"Luke's versatility, energy and work ethic is what I expect from players in my team and hopefully he can be a major asset next season."

Moore is the club's longest-serving player.
