Mario Balotelli arrives in Italy to undergo a medical ahead of his move to AC Milan.

Italian striker Mario Balotelli has arrived in Italy to undergo a medical examination ahead of his move to AC Milan.

It was confirmed on Tuesday that the 22-year-old had agreed to join the Italian outfit for a figure believed to be in the region of £17m.

Reporters waited at the airport for the former Manchester City forward to arrive, but according to Sky Sports News, Balotelli took a back exit from his personal jet to make his way to hospital.

The medical is expected to be complete this evening with the controversial Italian signing a four-and-a-half-year deal at the San Siro.
