Agent reveals Napoli bid for El Shaarawy

Napoli made an offer to AC Milan to sign striker Stephan El Shaarawy in January, according to the 20-year-old's agent Roberto La Florio.

Stephan El Shaarawy's agent has revealed that Napoli lodged a bid to sign the striker from AC Milan in January.

The 20-year-old has been in impressive form for the Rossoneri this season, scoring 16 goals and providing four assists in 30 Serie A matches.

"There was an offer in January," Roberto La Florio told Radio Kiss Kiss. "But Milan did not want to give him up."

Shaarawy is under contract with Milan until the summer of 2018.
