AC Milan have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Axel Witsel.
The 26-year-old has spent the past three seasons at the Russian club, but he has been constantly linked with a move away in recent months.
According to Mediaset Premium Sport, Milan are lining up a €25m (£18m) bid for the Belgian international, which includes €3m (£2m) to bring the player to San Siro on loan ahead of a mandatory option to buy him for €22m (£16m).
Witsel has made 57 appearances for Belgium and played for his country at last summer's World Cup.
