Saturday's Serie A predictions including Frosinone vs. AC Milan

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Frosinone vs. AC Milan.

Empoli vs. Genoa (Saturday, 2.00pm)

Aiming to continue their improvement since changing coach, Serie A strugglers Empoli host mid-table Genoa on Saturday.

The Tuscan side held Scudetto contenders Juventus to a draw last week, while their visitors are unbeaten since mid-December.

We say: Empoli 1-2 Genoa

In-form Genoa can make it three wins on the spin by triumphing in Tuscany this weekend, when Empoli's revival will be brought to a halt. The Grifone's forwards are starting to fire, and Alberto Gilardino clearly has his side well drilled.

Udinese vs. Monza (Saturday, 2.00pm)

Serving the first match of a two-game partial stadium closure, Serie A strugglers Udinese host mid-table Monza on Saturday.

Following racist chanting in last month's fixture against AC Milan, the Bianconeri's Curva Nord will be silent when their Lombardy counterparts come to town this weekend.

We say: Udinese 1-0 Monza

A second home win of the Serie A season may finally be afoot for Udinese, who have had trouble hanging onto leads throughout a testing campaign. Monza often struggle to score on the road, so one goal could decide the points' destiny.

Frosinone vs. AC Milan (Saturday, 5.00pm)

Trailing eight points behind top spot in Serie A, AC Milan seek a return to winning ways on Saturday, when they visit Frosinone at Stadio Benito Stirpe.

Milan's 2-2 draw with Bologna last time out leaves them adrift of Italy's top two, while their hosts are more concerned with halting a slow slide down the standings.

We say: Frosinone 1-2 AC Milan

The side with most first-half goals this season (Milan, 24) take on the team that has conceded more during the opening 45 minutes than any other (Frosinone, 20). The Rossoneri may make a fast start, then, before holding out for victory over opponents that have lost some momentum.

Bologna vs. Sassuolo (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Serie A's Saturday night kickoff brings together two Emilian rivals at Stadio Dall'Ara, as Bologna host struggling Sassuolo.

While the Rossoblu will aim to continue their long unbeaten run on home soil, their Neroverdi counterparts are dangling dangerously close to the drop zone following four losses from five.

We say: Bologna 2-1 Sassuolo

Sassuolo simply cannot keep clean sheets and are always prone to conceding more than once away from home, while Bologna rule the roost at Stadio Dall'Ara. For that reason, the hosts should secure maximum points for the first time in 2024; their local rivals will stay mired in trouble.
