AC Milan loanee Adel Taarabt has criticised the English media and claims that "nobody watches Fulham games".
Taarabt, who spent the first part of the season on loan at the Cottagers before joining the Rossoneri, has said that he is able to showcase his talents on a wider global stage by playing at the San Siro.
"When you are in London, if you play well and do one stupid thing, only the latter is of any interest. Mario Balotelli knows all too well what happens in England," he told Tuttosport.
"In Italy, instead, if you do a stupid thing and play really well, then you are still an idol. Is that why I made my mark here? Let's just say that nobody watches Fulham games, whereas Milan's matches go all over the world."
Taarabt has scored twice for Milan during his loan spell from Queens Park Rangers.
