AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani rejects speculation linking Pep Guardiola with the manager's job at the San Siro.

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has dismissed speculation linking Pep Guardiola with the manager's job at the San Siro.

The Spaniard left Barcelona during the summer following a highly-successful four years at the Camp Nou.

It was reported on Wednesday that the Italians were planning on talks with the 41-year-old in New York, but Galliani has insisted that these claims are false.

"I don't have any plans to travel to New York to meet Pep Guardiola," he told Tuttosport. "I am going to New York soon, but only to see my daughter."

Despite rumours of a move to Milan, Guardiola is thought to be keen on managing in the Premier League.
