Philippe Mexes, Kevin-Prince Boateng passed fit for AC Milan

AC Milan decide to risk naming injury doubts Philippe Mexes and Kevin-Prince Boateng in the 22-man squad for Tuesday night's clash with Barcelona.

Key duo Philippe Mexes and Kevin-Prince Boateng have shrugged off injury complaints to make AC Milan's 22-man squad for Tuesday's Champions League decider against Barcelona.

Mexes was substituted after 45 minutes of last Friday's 2-0 win at Geona as a precaution, but has made the squad that will travel to Camp Nou.

Boateng was left out altogether against Geona due to fitness concerns but has been named by Massimiliano Allegri for the second leg of Milan's last-16 tie.

The Rossoneri will be without in-form striker Giampaolo Pazzini after he suffered a micro-fracture to his fibula against Genoa.

Mario Balotelli is ineligible in Europe, leaving Stephan El Shaarawy as the sole candidate to lead the line in Spain.

Milan squad for Barcelona: Abbiati, Amelia, Gabriel, Abate, Antonini, Bonera, De Sciglio, Mexes, Yepes, Zapata, Ambrosini, Boateng, Constant, Flamini, Montolivo, Muntari, Nocerino, Traoré, Bojan, El Shaarawy, Niang, Robinho
