AC Milan striker Stephan El Shaarawy has declared that he is targeting a return to action in time for next month's trip to Barcelona in the Champions League.
El Shaarawy has endured a frustrating start to the campaign through injury, with a muscle strain swiftly followed by a hairline fracture to the fourth metatarsal in his left foot.
The 20-year-old believes that featuring in Milan's trip to the Camp Nou is a realistic target, while reiterating his desire to fight for a first-team place with the Rossoneri.
He told Gazzetta dello Sport: "Next week I'll do an ultrasound on my foot, but I should return for the game with Barcelona on November 6.
"I've done some great things in a Milan shirt, but I've also done some bad things. I just want to be judged by what I do on the pitch though.
"My mind is only on Milan. I have already stated on several occasions that I want to stay here."
The Italy international faces stiff competition for a starting spot at Milan when fully fit, with Mario Balotelli and Robinho joined by summer signing Alessandro Matri in attack at the San Siro.
