Ryan Jack pens new Aberdeen deal

Midfielder Ryan Jack agrees a new two-year contract with Scottish Premiership outfit Aberdeen.

Aberdeen have confirmed that Ryan Jack has signed a new contract with the Scottish Premiership club.

The 23-year-old midfielder has committed himself to Pittodrie until the summer of 2017.

"We are all delighted Ryan has committed to the club until the end of season 2016-17. It shows real intent from Ryan to play his part in a successful Aberdeen team," manager Derek McInnes told the club's official website.

"It also demonstrates the club can hold on to its good players as well and hopefully Ryan can continue to impress in an Aberdeen shirt next season."

Jack has made almost 180 appearances for the Dons since his debut back in 2010.
