Aberdeen sign striker Calvin Zola from Burton Albion on a two-year contract.

Aberdeen have completed the signing of Burton Albion striker Calvin Zola on a two-year deal.

The 28-year-old scored 16 goals last season as the Brewers narrowly missed out on promotion from League Two.

"I'm delighted to get Calvin on board as our third signing of the summer," Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes told the club's official website.

"He is at a good stage in his career, he's at a good age and when I spoke to him I felt he had a real enthusiasm to be part of something here at Aberdeen."

Zola began his career at Newcastle United before spells with Tranmere Rovers, Oldham Athletic and Crewe Alexandra.
