Ajax manager Frank de Boer has dismissed reports linking his club with a move for Arsenal winger Ryo Miyaichi.
The 19-year-old Japan international joined the Gunners in January 2011 and has since been sent out on loan to Feyenoord and Bolton Wanderers.
Miyaichi had been linked a temporary move to the Amsterdam club during the current transfer window, however De Boer does not believe that the player is a realistic target.
"In my opinion he is not an option any more," De Boer told Eredivisie Live. "There are several candidates. We'll know more soon."
Miyaichi has featured twice for Arsenal's first team - both appearances coming as a substitute in the League Cup.
