Westlife star Mark Feehily 'in line for Strictly's first all-male couple'

Westlife singer Mark Feehily is said to be in discussions to appear on this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

Westlife singer Mark Feehily is reportedly in talks to join Strictly Come Dancing as one half of the show's first ever all-male couple.

The BBC ballroom contest is going ahead this year despite the ongoing threat posed by coronavirus, although the series is expected to be around a month shorter than normal.

The new series is also likely to feature same-sex couples for the first time and, according to The Sun, 40-year-old Feehily is in line to pair up with gay pro Johannes Radebe.

"Mark is a massive fan of Strictly, and the boys actually performed on the show last year," a source told the newspaper.

"When he was first asked, he reluctantly had to decline because of the tour, but now that that's off, he's free to compete.

"Nearly all the celebs are now signed up, but the Beeb are really keen to make this work and get him on board last minute."

Strictly is due to begin on BBC One in late October.
