James Heatly takes diving bronze for Great Britain

Team GB's James Heatly posts a score of 483.40 on his way to securing a podium finish in the men's 1m springboard diving event.

James Heatly has finished third in the men's 1m springboard diving event to claim a sixth medal of the inaugural European Games for Great Britain.

The 18-year-old scored 483.40 at the Baku Aquatics Centre on his way to becoming Team GB's first ever diving medallist at the Games.

Nikita Shleikher of Russian Federation took gold, posting a total of 543.80 to edge out countryman Ilia Molchanov.

Heatly, who must now prepare for Friday morning's 3m diving qualification event, spoke to Sports Mole moments after his final dive, which can be viewed in full right here.
