Peter Sagan has clinched stage seven of the Tour de France, while Daryl Impey retains the yellow jersey.

Sagan was able to pip John Degenkolb to the finish line during the sprint, while Mark Cavendish failed to place after the route.

The Omega Pharma-Quick Step rider was part of a group dropped on the second climb of the day, while Sagan won the stage by a bike length.

Team Sky's Chris Froome finished in the peloton.
