Cadel Evans can't see past Team Sky dominance

Cadel Evans hails Team Sky for their Tour de France campaign as Bradley Wiggins stretches his overall lead to three minutes 19 seconds.

Australian cyclist Cadel Evans believes that Team Sky deserve praise for their performances as a unit during the Tour de France campaign.

Bradley Wiggins currently sits with the overall lead of three minutes 19 seconds and Evans believes that it would take something special to steal the yellow jersey.

"Sky have just shown their strength, they've really all come on firing," said Evans. "They have eight riders here and seven of them riding on the front have been incredible."

The 16th stage of the contest begins tomorrow from Pau to Bagneres-de-Luchon following today's rest day for the riders.
