Two golds for Team GB at Track Cycling World Cup

Jason Kenny and Laura Trott were a part of the teams that won gold medals for Great Britain at the Track Cycling World Cup.

Great Britain won two gold medals at the Track Cycling World Cup in Mexico yesterday.

In the men's team sprint, the British trio of Jason Kenny, Philip Hindes and Callum Skinner edged out their German counterparts by just 0.014 seconds in the final.

Meanwhile, Laura Trott, Elinor Barker, Ciara Horne and Amy Roberts eased to gold in the women's team pursuit courtesy of a five-second victory over Canada.

As well as the two gold medals, Team GB also claimed a silver in the men's team pursuit as the quartet of Steven Burke, Andy Tennant, Jon Dibben and Mark Christian lost out in the final to Australia.
