Sri Lanka dominate Bangladesh to post score of 332-1

Sri Lanka are well in control against Bangladesh having posted 332-1 from their innings, courtesy of some strong batting from Tillakaratne Dilshan and Kumar Sangakkara.

Tillakaratne Dilshan and Kumar Sangakkara both struck centuries to help Sri Lanka post an impressive 332-1 against Bangladesh in their Cricket World Cup meeting at the MCG.

Bangladesh bowlers struggled to deal with the partnership as Dilshan (161*) and Sangakkara (105*) put on a mammoth stand for the second wicket to put the Lions well in command from their 50 overs.

Opener Lahiru Thirimanne was the only man to fall, but even he still managed to register a half-century before being caught by Taskin Ahmed on 52 runs.

Sangakkara has now scored 22 one-day international centuries for Sri Lanka.
