Sri Lanka have been bowled out for 421 in their first innings on day two of the second Test against South Africa in Colombo.

Mahela Jayawardene, who is due to quit Test cricket next month, top-scored for the hosts with 165, while Dale Steyn, Vernon Philander and Jean-Paul Duminy each took two wickets each.

Niroshan Dickwella hit a half-century before the lunch break, and he took to the crease with Dilruwan Perera at the start of the session.

Dickwella went on to complete his fifty before being run out, with Perera earlier being caught out by Hashim Amla in the series decider.

Quinton de Kock caught out Ajantha Mendis at 415-9, before Suranga Lakmal went in the same fashion shortly after.
