Sri Lanka reach 359-8 as Pakistan take two wickets in afternoon session

Pakistan take two wickets in the afternoon session to leave Sri Lanka on 359-8 on day two of the third Test.

Pakistan have taken two wickets in the afternoon session on day two of the third Test in Sharjah, leaving Sri Lanka on 359-8.

Sri Lanka showed steady progress this morning by reaching lunch on 302-6.

Pakistan's bowlers had some decisions go against them in the early session, but they were more successful as the day progressed.

Junaid Khan eventually found the breakthrough by dismissing Angelo Mathews (91) before he could reach his century, while Khan also took out Rangana Herath for a duck.

Dilruwan Perera (54 not out) and Shaminda Eranga (2 not out) will return to the crease after tea.
