South Africa record a comfortable 67-run win over Pakistan in their ICC Champions Trophy group match.

South Africa have beaten Pakistan by 67 runs in their ICC Champions Trophy Group B match this evening.

The Proteas won the toss and elected to bat first before building a decent platform of 145-3, helped largely by 81 runs from Hashim Amla.

South Africa went on to post a total of 234-9, leaving Pakistan needing 235 from their 50 overs to win.

They didn't make a great start, however, losing Imran Farhat for just two runs before Mohammad Hafeez was caught on five.

Misbah Ul-Haq managed to reach 50 before eventually being dispatched on 55 as Pakistan collapsed from 129-4 to 167 all out.

The defeat leaves Pakistan bottom of the group.
