A solid team performance from the Sydney Sixers saw them beat the Sydney Thunder by 16 runs and extend their 100% Big Bash League start to three games.
The Sixers, who were put into bat by the Thunder, didn't have any huge scores, but the top six all got into double figures and were led by Riki Wessels's 50 off 33 balls.
The batsmen amassed 180-7 from their 20 overs and the bowlers defended the target well.
Jacques Kallis (3) was clean-bowled early on by Mitchell Starc and although Aiden Blizzard fired a game-high unbeaten 80 off 42 balls, he didn't get enough help from his teammates.
The Thunder were always trailing the required rate and ended up on 164-5 to lose their first game of the Twenty20 tournament.
