Rajasthan Royals beat Sunrisers Hyderabad in final ball

Rajasthan Royals beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by six wickets in the final ball of their Indian Premier League encounter.

Rajasthan Royals secured a six-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in the final ball of their Indian Premier League match in Visakhapatnam.

Eoin Morgan, who captained England in their failed World Cup campaign last month, made his Indian Premier League debut and top-scored for the Sunrisers with 27 off 30 balls.

Opening batsman David Warner could only muster 21 before he was run out by Ajinkya Rahane as Dhawal Kulkarni and Pravin Tambe took two wickets apiece as the Sunrisers finished the innings 127-5.

In reply, Rahane impressed with the bat by eventually storming to 62 runs before getting bowled out by Trent Boult after facing 56 deliveries.

Steven Smith, who is a regular big-hitter for Australia, could only reach 13 runs as he was caught out by his international teammate Warner.

It was a tense finish as the Royals needed two runs with as many balls remaining, but they were able to do so with Stuart Binny and James Faulkner at the crease.
