The Chennai Super Kings overcome the Pune Warriors India by 37 runs in the Indian Premier League.

The Chennai Super Kings managed to record a 37-run victory over the Pune Warriors India at the Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium this evening.

Suresh Raina proved to be the main contributor for the Super Kings, who made 164 runs for the loss of three wickets from their allotted 20 overs.

The Indian batsman scored an unbeaten 63 from 50 deliveries, while skipper MS Dhoni was also at the crease at the end with 45 runs to his name.

In reply, the Warriors started slowly and they lost their opening four batsmen, which included Yuvraj Singh, for a combined total of just 30 runs.

Next in was Steven Smith, who topscored with 35, but when he was caught and bowled by Ravindra Jadeja, any chance that the Warriors had of reaching their victory target were ended. They eventually finished their 20 overs on 127-9.
