New Gloucestershire captain Michael Klinger has said that he aims to develop the county's younger players during his time at the club.
The Australian batsman, who has been signed as the club's overseas player, will be available in all formats of the game for the entire summer.
"It will be a great challenge to captain such a young side," Klinger said.
"Hopefully, I can help some of the younger kids improve and take the next step in their games."
Klinger, 32, joins after skippering state side South Australia and he has also appeared for the Australia A team.
He also scored 293 runs in six first-class matches for Worcestershire last season, standing in for compatriot Phil Hughes.
Klinger has taken over the captaincy at Nevil Road from Alex Gidman, who stepped down at the end of the 2012 campaign.
