The helmet manufacturer of Australian cricketer Phil Hughes is seeking footage of the incident that put the batsman in hospital in order to increase safety measures.
Hughes was taken to hospital with a serious head injury on Tuesday after being struck with a ball during a match in Sydney.
Masuri, who are among the leading producers of cricket helmets in the world, have now asked for as much TV and video footage as possible as they look to reduce the risk that batsman face at the crease.
"The thoughts of everyone at Masuri are with Phil Hughes and his family," said managing director Sam Miller. "Helmet manufacturers are constantly developing their products to make them safer. We work continuously with the governing authorities worldwide to reduce the risk of injury to players."
The full extent of the injury sustained by Hughes is not expected to be discovered until tomorrow.
