Jason Gillespie has paid tribute to his Yorkshire players after they finished the tour of Abu Dhabi with an emphatic victory over MCC.
An unbeaten run on the tour was completed with a nine-wicket triumph over a side which included Alastair Cook, Nick Compton and Graham Onions, and Gillespie was impressed with the approach of his side during their stay.
"To play this MCC game and play the style of cricket we want to play throughout the season has been fantastic," the Australian told Yorkshire's official website.
"Full credit to the lads, they've put in a lot of work here in.
"The boys have been spot on with their attitude, At times, it has been quite challenging, and they've stepped up. Sometimes it was quite difficult for the bowlers and for the batters as well."
County Championship winners Yorkshire start the defence of their title against Worcestershire on April 12.
