The England and Wales Cricket Board have confirmed that they have handed a two-game suspension to Surrey captain Gareth Batty.
The 35-year-old was reported by the umpires for two Level Two breaches of the ECB's disciplinary code in Surrey's win over Somerset in the quarter-finals of the Friends Life t20.
Batty, who was reported after a confrontation with Somerset batsman Peter Trego, will miss the competition's finals day.
"It is a decision the ECB have come to," Surrey executive director Alec Stewart told BBC Radio Five Live.
"We have to accept it regardless of our thoughts and will have to prepare for the Twenty20 final without him."
The punishment will remain on Batty's record for two years.
