Jerome Taylor gives West Indies hopes

West Indies bowler Jerome Taylor claims three wickets to reduce New Zealand to 96-5 at lunch on day four.

Jerome Taylor has given the West Indies hope on day four in their Test against New Zealand, helping reduce the tourists to 96-5 at lunch in Jamaica.

Having bowled the hosts out for 262 yesterday, the Black Caps looked to add to their 260-run advantage in the morning session.

However, Taylor added to the wicket of Peter Fulton, which he took late on day three by trapping Inderbir Sodhi and Ross Taylor lbw.

Brendan McCullum tried to halt the West Indies' charge, but was bowled for 17 by Shane Shillingford shortly before the end of the session.

However, Thomas Latham was able to reach his half-century before the break, while James Neesham headed into lunch 14 not out.
